“During my first student term with PCL I worked as a junior field coordinator on the Deloitte Tower project in Montreal. I joined PCL full-time in 2018 and I now work as a project manager. My advice to students is to be curious, ask questions, and be open to change.”
Meet Student Program Alumni
I moved from Victoria to Regina for my PCL student term and my team and supervisor immediately welcomed me and included me in activities during and outside of work. Now that I am in Edmonton, I still have connections in Regina that I am happy to call my mentors and friends.
I worked with a lot of different teams during my six student terms with PCL, and I have always felt welcomed, encouraged and comfortable asking questions since my first day. Now that I am in my sixth year as a full-time employee, I still have so many opportunities to learn and collaborate.
The cool thing about working for PCL as a software developer is how technologically advanced we are. I can play my part in creating innovative solutions that directly impact our job sites' ability to build better and smarter.
